When you join us as an MRI Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:30am - 7pm. A $5 shift differential applies after pm.
- Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
- Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
- Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
- Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on‑site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations
- Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues
- Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
- Must have BLS certification
- A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!
