Main Purpose of JobThe Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Park Service is currently recruiting for a seasonal contractual position for the upcoming 2026 season with the Maryland Conservation Corps Program. Contract duration will be approximately six months from date of hire.

Desired orPreferred Qualifications
- At least six (6) months of experience working in a park location performing park operations.
- A valid motor vehicle operator’s license in the State of Maryland and five points or fewer on the current driving record.
Applicants may undergo a background investigation, including employment reference check, education verification, driving record check (if required), and a criminal history check including fingerprinting. Continued employment will be contingent on the results.

BenefitsContractual employees who work 30 or more hours a week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage. The State of Maryland will subsidize 75% of the cost for these benefits. Leave may be granted at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
