Salary:
Compensation – commensurate to skill level and experience
- Entry-Level (0-5 years): $75,000 - $95,000 / year
- Mid-Level (5-10 years): $95,000 - $165,000 / year
- Principal (10+ years): $165,000+ / year

OverviewAs an Electrical Applications Engineer
, you will bridge engineering design with customer‑facing application support. You’ll work closely with sales teams, end‑users, and internal R&D partners to ensure our electrical systems meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
- Consult with end‑users and electrical engineers to influence product specifications.
- Provide technical support to sales teams and customers on product applications.
- Develop and deliver training materials for internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate new technologies into product offerings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, IEC, NEC, etc.).
- Support proposal development, including RFI/RFP and specification review.
- Ensure products and applications comply with key industry standards: UL, IEC, NEC, and more
- Promote safe, reliable, and high‑performing electrical system designs
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power systems, power electronics, and controls.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Experience with compliance with industry standards. (UL, IEC, NEC, etc.)
- Experience with RFIs/RFPs and proposal review.
- At least 1 years’ experience with Salesforce.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience with Data Center Infrastructure.
- Experience in Salesforce or another CRM platform
- Background in mission‑critical infrastructure or data center environments (a plus)
- Hybrid work model in Maryland, occasional visits to corporate offices in VA.
- Travel to client sites, industry events, and manufacturing partners in Maryland
- Collaborative team setting with strong mentorship and growth opportunities
