Location:
Maryland | Hybrid/Remote | Travel to client sites & industry partners in Maryland and occasional visits to corporate offices in VA.

Salary:
Compensation – commensurate to skill level and experience

• Entry-Level (0-5 years): $75,000 - $95,000 / year
• Mid-Level (5-10 years): $95,000 - $165,000 / year
• Principal (10+ years): $165,000+ / year

As an Electrical Applications Engineer
, you will bridge engineering design with customer‑facing application support. You’ll work closely with sales teams, end‑users, and internal R&D partners to ensure our electrical systems meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.

• Consult with end‑users and electrical engineers to influence product specifications.
• Provide technical support to sales teams and customers on product applications.
• Develop and deliver training materials for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with R&D to integrate new technologies into product offerings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, IEC, NEC, etc.).
• Support proposal development, including RFI/RFP and specification review.

• Ensure products and applications comply with key industry standards: UL, IEC, NEC, and more
• Promote safe, reliable, and high‑performing electrical system designs

• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power systems, power electronics, and controls.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with compliance with industry standards. (UL, IEC, NEC, etc.)
• Experience with RFIs/RFPs and proposal review.
• At least 1 years’ experience with Salesforce.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience with Data Center Infrastructure.

• Experience in Salesforce or another CRM platform
• Background in mission‑critical infrastructure or data center environments (a plus)
• Hybrid work model in Maryland, occasional visits to corporate offices in VA.
• Travel to client sites, industry events, and manufacturing partners in Maryland
• Collaborative team setting with strong mentorship and growth opportunities
