Sr. Network Engineer - F2F

About this Position

Our client, Elegant Enterprise Wide Solutions, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage large data communications and telecommunications networks.

Sr. Network Engineer

• Design and implement large data communications and telecommunications networks.
• Plan, monitor, and manage installation of communications circuits and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor network equipment, including bridges, routers, modem pools, and gateways.
• Develop short- and long-term plans to meet communications requirements.
• Perform hardware/software analyses and vendor evaluations to assess performance and suitability.
• Prepare tradeoff studies and generate network monitoring/performance reports.
• Recommend network design changes and enhancements to improve availability and performance.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline. If applicable, shall be certified as network engineer for the specific network operating system as defined in the State task request havs. The certification criteria are determined by the network operating system vendor.

Nine (9) years of experience in a computer-related field.

Seven (7) years of progressive experience in planning, designing, implementation, and analyzing data or telecommunications networks. Must have experience with network analysis/management tools and techniques and be familiar with Personal Computers (PC Banken) in a client/server environment. Must be familiar with IT technology and long distance and local carrier management.

Engineer, Network (Senior) - Palo Alto

• Ten (10) years of experience in network administration
• Current certifications in the following:
• Palo Alto Networks Accredited Systems Engineer
