Position: Network Engineer with Security Clearance
Adventure Technology Services is a small IT contractor headquartered in Columbia, MD that provides high level solutions to Federal Government customers and are always looking for high quality professionals to join our team.

Network Engineer Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Salary Range: $135k-150k annually Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to:
Knowledge, skills, & abilities Years of experience Education/Certifications Program placement Duties & responsibilities Internal equity More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.

Location:

Annapolis Junction Role/Responsibilities:
Performs network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration. Schedules conversions and cutovers. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents. Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders. Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.

Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces. Education & Related

Experience:

Eight years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection. Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

* More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed. OVERTIME STATEMENT: 40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.

BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
