Role OverviewAs a Civil Engineer at Atwell, your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, with opportunities to become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and industrial land development.
Responsibilities- Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Assess project survey data, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condominium documents.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare a variety of reports and recommendations, such as hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence reports, engineer’s opinions, project schedules, utility computations, storm sewer reports, and preliminary grading.
- Construction Support: Provide construction‑related services including permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals under senior staff guidance.
- Engineering Software Mastery: Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software efficiently and in line with established standards.
- Effective Communication: Deliver strong written and verbal communication to collaborate with staff and coordinate projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience
- EIT preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water
CAD, Storm
CAD, and Sewer
CAD preferred
Pay Range: $78,700 USD – $118,200 USD
