** DESCRIPTION
* * Under the supervision of the School Administration, the Lunch Recess Monitor assists and monitors students during the lunch and recess periods at the Elementary School. Lunch and Recess Monitors are hired on as needed basis and will be contacted by the school directly.
** Lunch Recess Monitors are hired by recommendation only.
** Lunch and Recess Monitors are expected to maintain a professional attitude toward their work and support the mission and goals of the school system.
** Interested candidates are encouraged to contact schools directly to notify them of their interest.

** APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
** Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be included in the pool.
** Lunch and Recess Monitors are hired by recommendation only.
** Applicants with complete applications will be added to the Lunch Recess Monitor Pool for schools to review the applications. School administrators in need of Lunch Recess Monitors will contact applicants directly to schedule an interview. All employees, regular and temporary, must be fingerprinted, have a criminal background investigation completed, and successfully complete the Maryland Employment History Review, pursuant to Section 6-113.2 of the Education Article, Annotated Code of Maryland.
In addition, some positions will require completion of a physical examination and/or drug testing.
