Overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Operations Coordination Specialist to manage the day-to-day logistics of international air and ocean freight, domestic shipments, and air charter operations. This role is central to ensuring smooth communication, efficient scheduling, and high-quality service delivery across our logistics network.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for both new and existing clients, ensuring seamless communication and support
  • Provide clients with competitive rate quotes, booking assistance, shipment coordination, and real-time tracking updates
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and third-party partners regarding shipment status and logistics
  • Support business development by nurturing existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Occasionally oversee cargo operations on-site to ensure proper handling and compliance
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational excellence
  • Professional office setting with standard equipment (computers, phones, copiers, etc.)
  • Full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Remote work available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; familiarity with air freight or cargo operations is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination
  • Basic math proficiency for rate calculations and logistics planning
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret instructions and solve operational challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with documentation software is advantageous
  • Sales experience is beneficial but not required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance
