Position SummaryThe Events Coordinator is responsible for providing logistical and tactical support to the Events and Corporate Communications team as well as adult programming (Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops). This role supports all adult sports programming within the club to ensure members can enjoy a successful and robust program. The Coordinator helps ensure events are successful and aligned with Life Time's Mission and Vision Statement, supporting Member Retention by delivering an outstanding member experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate Life Time in-center event logistics by collaborating with internal audiences and coordinating external vendors.
- Deliver desired event results by providing documentation and reporting specific event measurables.
- Provide project management support for club event marketing campaigns.
- Engage with members and non-members to promote club events and adult programs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 to 2 years of experience coordinating corporate or retail event programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- CPR and AED Certified.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Extensive knowledge of all club activities and promotions.
- Excellent customer service and promotional skills.
- Ability to build relationships with members.
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $21.75 and paying up to $31.25, based on experience and qualifications.
