Overview
Parking Operations Specialist
The position performs routine administrative, operational, financial, and customer-support services related to campus parking, and NOVACard operations.
Duties- Perform front office duties including but not limited to: permit sales, citation payments, NOVACard issuance, cash drawer reconciliation, and general customer support.
- Manage Print Services, refill paper, toner, and staples as needed. Troubleshoot paper jams.
- Monitor Smarter Track for tickets and address as necessary. Escalate tickets to Tier 2 as needed.
- Perform parking enforcement duties including but not limited to: checking all applicable parking areas for infractions against parking policy, issuing citations to vehicles, and properly maintaining parking equipment and hardware.
- Operate a state enforcement vehicle while performing duties.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to answer phones.
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Customer service experience
- Computer experience working in a Windows environment
- Valid Driver’s License
- Cash-handling experience
- Experience in an office environment.
- Experience dealing with customer concerns and problems.
