1st Shift Supervisor

Job description:

Other duties may be assigned as needed to help maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere.

Will supervise and coordinate NKP Logistics associates with duties consisting of, but not limited to: data entry, customer contact, picking, packing, packaging, loading, unloading, inspection, sorting, storing and shipment of incoming and outgoing products. Will have inventory control and scheduling responsibilities. Will have a variety of duties, must be able to work necessary overtime, and be willing to attend outside classes in order to upgrade supervisory skills and capabilities.

Other duties as assigned.

• Possess an Associate Degree or equivalent experience
• Must have strong data entry, personal computer and clerical skills.
• Good communicator, dependable, and maintain accurate filing system.
• Must possess strong supervisory background.
• Position will be very paperwork oriented, so must be able to pay attention to fine details, and must have inventory control experience.
• Must be people oriented with the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others.
• Must be flexible and have good problem solving skills.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be willing to assist General Associates in completing all work requirements.
• Must be willing to learn/to preform Tow Buggy and or Forklift operations
