Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cloud services industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Senior to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing their cloud-based applications and infrastructure. - Design, develop, and maintain containerized applications within a cloud environment, primarily using GCP and Anthos.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient software delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration across containers.
- Support existing applications while contributing to new development initiatives and pipeline improvements.
- Participate actively in an Agile environment, supporting team efforts and assisting other teams as needed.
- Proven experience with Java development, especially with Spring Boot framework.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Team City, Jira, Bitbucket, and familiarity with Git Hub.
- Deep knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, QA, and release management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environment.
