Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Technology team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Clarivate's Alexander Street product and content management systems. Alexander Street products are curated, discipline-focused, primary-source collections, and streaming media for learning and research. We're passionate about creating landmark online resources that help scholars and students discover and learn.

• Atleast 2 years of experience providing quality assurance to a software development team for a commercial product

• Experience of providing quality assurance to web applications in a variety of browsers.

• Knowledge of Chrome dev-tools for providing additional error information from the console.

• Minimum of 2 years of individual experience in Selenium, Test Rail or other test systems.

• Strong experience in Github, JIRA, Confluence

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar engineering or science discipline.

• Experience with AWS or any Cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Search Engines, SOLR or Elasticsearch, and with No
  
  SQL databases, such as Dynamo
  
  DB.

• Experience in Cypress test automation suite

• Develop & execute, automation & manual test suites for web applications

• Reviewing requirements and providing feedback

• Working with development engineers, architects & product managers to understand product workflows, requirements & acceptance criteria

• Creating and maintaining accounts for quality assurance and software development

The team develops & maintains several applications and systems that support workflows of the Content Management systems feeding into the Alexander Street product platform. This involves ingestion, indexing, and publishing digital content (audio, video, text/documents, images) to the Alexander Street product. This product is part of the Pro Quest brand of Clarivate.

This role is part of the technology team as part of the Academia & Government business segment. Our squads collaborate to build the best-in-class software solutions.

Full time job with work 9 hour/day including lunch break.
