Field Service Technician

Overview

Field Service Technician:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician with expertise in both electrical/electronic and mechanical systems. We are also open to training the right candidate who has a basic understanding of these areas.

• Proficiency in interpreting electrical/electronic ladder diagrams
• Ability to read mechanical ANSI/ISO prints
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming
• Willingness to travel to various locations, including local, out-of-state, and Canadian sites
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and self-management skills

• Respond to customer inquiries over the phone and provide timely assistance
• Lead installations and tests, and offer operational guidance to customer technicians and operators
• Use diagnostic tools to identify technical malfunctions and challenges accurately
• Repair faulty or damaged mechanical components and manage the ordering process for necessary replacements
• Advocate for the company's technical services, emphasizing their benefits to clients

• Ability to work independently at customer sites, showcasing adaptability and self-reliance
• Effective time management skills for travel and on-site technical service
• Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules and shifts
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues based on technical descriptions provided by customers
