We’re seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) who is eager to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community!

Requirements
  • Current NNP Certification Required
  • Successful completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program
  • State of Michigan license
  • Minimum two years of NICU experience
  • BLS certification
  • NRP certification
Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing assessment, planning, and evaluation of care for newborns under the direction of attending pediatricians
  • Ordering, interpreting, and documenting labs, diagnostic imaging, and treatment plans
  • Attending high-risk deliveries to provide resuscitation and stabilization
  • Independently performing neonatal transports between hospital systems
  • Writing orders for medications, IV therapy, nutrition, blood products, admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Participating in nursing education, competency assessment, and staff consultation
  • Assisting with quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and unit procedures
  • Submitting accurate and timely billing
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development through education and training
  • Maintaining confidentiality, safety practices, and adherence to Trinity Healths Mission, Vision, and Values

The Livonia campus includes a Level I nursery averaging 1,000 deliveries annually, and the Ann Arbor campus houses a Level III NICU with about 4,500 deliveries each year.
