  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,250 - $2,370/week
Qualifications /

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years recent NICU RN experience; PICU experience required (neonatal and pediatric critical care)
  • Active Michigan RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Certifications:

    NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS, PALS
  • Epic EMR / Epic charting experience preferred
  • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
  • Ability to attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
  • At least 2 professional references (one supervisory)
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to neonates with complex medical and surgical needs in a Level IV NICU (neonatal nurse, NICU RN responsibilities)
  • Attend high-risk deliveries and perform advanced neonatal resuscitation and stabilization (NRP)
  • Float to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as needed (pediatric critical care support)
  • Perform specialized procedures: IV insertion, central line and arterial line management, ventilator support
  • Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapies including ECMO, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver family-centered care
  • Educate and support families through hospitalization and discharge planning
  • Accurately document care using Epic EMR
