Registered Nurse; Health Educator

Description

Recruiting compassionate RN for Eisenhower Center (specialized residential setting for TBI, I/DD, MI, ASD). Provide high‑quality care, support, medical oversight.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents with TBI, I/DD, MI, and ASD.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess residents’ health status, identifying any changes or concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the facility treatment team.
• Educate residents and direct care staff about health conditions, treatments, and self‑care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records and documentation.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care.
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents.
• Assist with daily living activities and promote a safe and supportive environment.

• Traveling between facilities in Manchester, Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti

• Current and valid RN license in Michigan.
• Minimum of 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in a similar setting.
• Previous experience with TBI/CMH residential care.
• Advanced proficiency in documentation requirements.
• Experience working with individuals with TBI, I/DD, MI, and ASD.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in nursing care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
