RN - PACU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Variable Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM (On call nights and weekends, rotation with current staff)

Seeking a skilled Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will efficiently monitor patient vital signs and manage any arising complications, ensuring comfort and safety during recovery.

• Continuously monitor vital signs and level of consciousness of patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Ensure a patent airway and intervene quickly in cases of respiratory distress.
• Administer medications for pain and nausea, helping to manage post-operative symptoms.
• Assess surgical sites for bleeding or complications and perform necessary physical assessments.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

• 2 years of PACU experience is required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
