BIOTRONIK is looking to add a Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) to our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The FCS will provide technical and clinical support within an assigned territory, covering all bradycardia and tachycardia product segments. The FCS professionally represents BIOTRONIK and provides education, follow‑up services, implant services, in‑service training, and other related services to the sales force, physicians and other cardiac pacing professionals.

The FCS will report to the Regional Sales Director and take general instruction from local sales representatives for day mekem activities.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide pacemaker & ICD follow‑up to BIOTRONIK patients and physician customers.
  • Provide pacemaker & ICD implant support within geographic responsibility area.
  • Provide in‑service training to physician, nursing and technical hospital staff.
  • Train peers in cardiac pacing and BIOTRONIK products.
  • Provide technical and administrative support forCNT clinical and scientific studies, including patient data collection and site support.
  • Ensure all paperwork associated with implants or follow‑up or data collection for studies is correct.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of cardiac pacing,’w defibrillators and electrophysiology.
  • Maintain comprehensive product and technical knowledge of all BIOTRONIK bradycardia and tachycardia products.
  • Demonstrate ICD implant competency; non‑certified candidates must become certified within six months of hire.
  • Obtain or maintain North America Society of Pacing & Electrophysiology (IBHRE) certification; non‑certified candidates must become certified within two years of hire.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products, including features, functions and benefits.
  • Assist sales representatives within specific territory.
  • Provide 24/7 on‑call coverage; weekend call schedules on a rotating basis.
  • Carry a pager and be available at all times when on call.
  • Provide implant and follow‑up coverage for sales representatives when unavailable or in training.
  • Travel anywhere within the sales territory; cross‑over coverage during emergencies may be required.
  • Years of out‑of‑town travel expected no more than 30%.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor en degree (or equivalent) in Nursing,いいPhysiology, Biology or Biomedical Engineering; graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a cardiac cath lab, EP lab, or pacing business with emphasis on pacemaker and ICD support.
  • Pacemaker implantation and/or follow‑up experience.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the company.
Travel/Availability Requirements
  • 24/7, 7 day a week on‑call coverage (including holidays, weekends, evenings).
  • Willing to work/travel weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to travel outside of assigned territory as needed.
  • Continuous verbal and written communication.
  • Drive ~80% of time within assigned territory.
  • Valid driver\u69 licence and active vehicle insurance.

  • Sitting, standing, and walking up to eight plus hours per day.
  • Environmental exposures: eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation.

  • Frequent bending / stooping / squatting and balance.
