- Hourly range for Registered Nurses $41.78-$64.81/ hour
- Evening Shift Differential-$3.00 / hour
- Night Shift Differential- $4.00 / hour
- Day Shift Weekend Differential- $2.90 / hour

5A is a fast‑paced unit with 32 acute care beds. We specialize in adult Orthopaedic procedures, traumatic injuries including burn, along with acute and moderate care surgical patients. The surgical patient population can include general surgery, urology, colorectal, neurosurgery, otolaryngology and more.
Our unit is a great platform for beginning your nursing career. We are proud of our strong nursing staff, robust Unit Based Committee, and the actions to streamline patient care through our Workload Committee. Our unit is a great place to build time‑management skills, as well as develop clinical knowledge and communication skills.

Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Required Qualifications*
Current Michigan RN license for all candidates that have passed the NCLEX.
GN applicants will be considered for this position. The selected Graduate Nurse candidate will have 45 days from date of hire to successfully pass the NCLEX for Michigan RN licensure.
NOTE:
In order to be considered for this position the applicant must have met or will have met all the required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

Recent experience as a telemetry or progressive care RN is preferred.
BSN highly desired.
Work Schedule- Hours:
40 hours per week (1.0) Nights - Shift: 12 and 8 hrs, rotating every other weekend
