Location: Trinity Health Ann Arbor
Description: Registered Nurse in the 9E Progressive Care Unit (Medical PCU) – caring for patients with pulmonary, renal, DM, chemical dependency, and multi-system organ diseases.
Position
Purpose:
Provide progressive care in a high-acuity setting.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing program graduation; BSN preferred; must have a BSN within 5 years from hire.
- Licensure: Current State of Michigan RN license; BLS; ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency.
- Experience: Knowledge of nursing theory and age specific needs;
Interpersonal skills;
Critical thinking;
Attention to detail.

What you will do:
- Gather and analyze patient information.
- Develop, implement, evaluate and revise individualized plan of care.
- Use teach-back methodology to educate patient and family.
- Actively seek to prevent hospital acquired conditions.
- Effectively communicate patient status, priority goals and interventions during consultations, rounds and handoffs.
- Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures.
