Business Intern

The Business Intern performs a variety of tasks involved with process documentation, workflow procedures and processes, standardization, and continuous improvement.

• Document best practices and procedures
• Create visual guides for mold assembly steps
• Map process flows of new builds through departments
• Conduct 5S audits in CNC, EDM, Shop, and Design areas
• Analyze bottlenecks and propose efficient solutions
• Organize tool shadow boards and storage solutions

This position reports directly to the Director of Tooling Design & Build and requires a close working relationship with many tooling group employees, especially the management team.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Some college
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office/Windows)
• Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
• Must present self in a professional manner

Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position and essential functions including sitting and looking at a computer, and frequently moving about the shop to gather information. Employee may be required to work up to 40 hours a week, if workload permits.
