Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and other technical documents to execute welds.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and compliance with engineering specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces by grinding, cutting, and cleaning prior to welding.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to design requirements.

• Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick/SMAW).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding and adherence to welding safety protocols.
• Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
• Physical dexterity, stamina, and ability to lift moderately heavy materials.
• Experience working with various metals common in manufacturing (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel).

• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
• Experience with a variety of metals beyond common steel (e.g., aluminum, stainless steel, exotic alloys).
