- Develop and implement a bold, comprehensive strategy for the Food Advisory & Training business, partnering with regional leaders for local execution.
- Achieve financial and operational targets, driving profitability and growth in line with NSF’s mission and customer expectations.
- Lead technical and operational teams, ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation in service delivery.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to identify opportunities and address challenges.
- Oversee business development initiatives, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to expand market presence.
- Manage P&L, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve or exceed revenue and margin goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Represent NSF’s values and culture, serving as a role model and motivator for the team.
- Travel up to 25% (domestic and international) to engage with clients and teams.
- Proven success in a senior leadership or general management role within the food industry or testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) sector.
- 10+ years of experience developing and executing business strategies, leading global or regional operations, and driving results in hybrid and remote environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in P&L management, resource allocation, and achieving financial targets.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen, customer focus, and a passion for making a difference.
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, fostering trust, and developing talent.
- Collaborative, global mindset with the ability to engage across regions, divisions, and functions.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- Hybrid work arrangement based at an NSF office such as Ann Arbor, MI (preferred) or Guelph, Ontario.
