Senior IT Engineer

We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer with deep expertise in Apple/Mac environments to lead and architect our client’s enterprise Mac strategy. This is a hands‑on role focused on Level 2-3 escalations, scripting, and JAMF administration, while also setting standards and best practices for the team. You will be the go‑to expert for complex issues and play a key role in shaping our Mac infrastructure.

• Onsite, M-F in Ann Arbor, MI
• Minimum 1-year contract; potential for extension or conversion to full‑time.

• Serve as the architect and lead for Mac systems within corporate IT.
• Handle escalated Level 2-3 tickets and provide guidance to Level 1 support.
• Develop runbooks, triage documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Manage corporate patching for macOS and third‑party packages.
• Administer and optimize JAMF Cloud (including Installomator and JAMF Connect).
• Collaborate with engineering teams in a technical, fast‑paced environment.

• 7+ years of experience as an IT Administrator or Desktop Engineer.
• Demonstrated expertise with Mac: 80% of work focused on Apple devices.
• At least 3 years of experience JAMF Administration.
• JAMF Cloud experience is a huge plus.
• JAMF certifications (200/300 preferred).
• Scripting:
  Unix/Linux (Bash, Python).
• Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Okta (Identity Management) and Service Now (ticketing system).
