SummaryThe Hexagon Eco Sys Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Hexagon Eco Sys platform for clients in the utilities and capital project sectors. This role combines deep technical expertise with client‑facing advisory skills to deliver robust project controls solutions, integrations, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities Implementation & Configuration- Gather and analyze business requirements to design Hexagon Eco Sys forecasting, portfolio management, and cost management structures and workflows.
- Configure Hexagon Eco Sys modules including cost sheets, forecasting, and functional workflows.
- Customize KPIs, security roles, and reporting templates.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Hexagon Eco Sys tools.
- Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and quality assurance prior to deployment.
- Plan, execute, and manage Hexagon Eco Sys environment setup, upgrades, patches, maintenance activities, and performance tuning.
- Integrate Hexagon Eco Sys with Oracle P6, Primavera Unifier, ERP systems, and Sage.
- Develop and maintain APIs and middleware solutions for seamless data exchange.
- Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems; validate and reconcile migrated data.
- Write and optimize scripts and queries to enhance Hexagon Eco Sys functionality and reporting performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Stay current with the latest features and updates of the Hexagon Eco Sys platform and related technologies.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources for Hexagon Eco Sys implementations.
- Develop training materials and deliver workshops for end‑users and administrators.
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure alignment with Hexagon Eco Sys best practices and industry standards.
- Maintain portfolio governance and audit configurations for compliance.
- Document workflows and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in project controls and Hexagon Eco Sys implementations.
- 5+ years in Hexagon Eco Sys functional configuration and cost management.
- 5+ years in technical administration and system integration.
- Expertise in Hexagon Eco Sys configuration tools and scripting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, Web Logic, and ETL tools.
- Experience with middleware and API development.
- Experience with report writing and dashboard creation.
- Integration experience with Oracle P6, Unifier, ERP, and Sage.
- Hands‑on experience in data migration and BI reporting tools (e.g., BI Publisher).
- Deep understanding of project controls workflows, cost management, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with business process analysis and change management.
- Knowledge of audit processes and Hexagon Eco Sys security.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, client engagement and stakeholder collaboration capabilities.
