Join Our Team! We’re hiring a Part-Time Nursing Assistant (24 hours per week). This role includes working every third weekend and rotating evening and night shifts (3:00 PM–11:30 PM and 11:00 PM–7:30 AM). Applicants may be certified or uncertified nursing assistants. Apply to learn more!

The Certified Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• Provide assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities; bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meal preparation and dining needs, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Administer delegated tasks and treatments.
• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• May assist patients in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment if needed.
• Will collect non-invasive biological specimens from patients as needed.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare.
• Prepare patient treatment areas for use; prepare and clean medical equipment; dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.
• Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is required for CNA position, but not required for NA position.
• If renewal or pending certification is needed upon hire date, incumbent must obtain within 30 days.
