Full‑time, Part‑time, Contingent/PRN. Every other weekend and holiday per year required for Full‑time and Part‑time team members.

Minimum Rate of Pay$16.29 PLUS Daily Pay
Position PurposeThe PCT, under the direction of a registered nurse, is responsible for direct patient care considering age‑specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs. They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to patient/family wellbeing, including concepts of relationship‑based care.
Shifts Available6:30 am‑3:00 pm; 2:30 pm‑11:00 pm; 10:30 pm‑7:00 am.
Required Education / Licensure- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long‑term) or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
- Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
- Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
- The PCT assists patients in completing ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices, and with feeding and menu selection.
- A PCT collects and sends specimens, including blood and blood cultures, inserts and removes peripheral IV catheters, and records patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements.
- Provides care for critically ill patients recovering from acute MI, cardiogenic shock, CHF, cardiac arrest, and various percutaneous interventions; cares for cardiac patients with heart attack, heart failure, arrhythmias, and various percutaneous interventions, in a progressive care setting.
