The Bridge Internship offers real-world experience on exciting projects and the opportunity to perform assignments under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer in support of bridge design and inspection projects. Tasks may include:

• Performing standard bridge engineering/design procedures
• Developing structural details using specialized software (Micro Station, Mathcad, LARSA or various concrete and steel design or analysis programs)
• Bridge inspections
• Performing structural load rating calculations as well as assisting with geometric layout and bridge type studies.
• CADD plan production may also be required.
• Perform other duties as needed

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Attention to detail
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
