Job Summary

The Workforce Education Facilitator collaborates with the Program Administrator to design and deliver workforce-focused education for MWSE participants. This role supports career readiness and educational goal attainment, coordinates instruction, integrates career exploration, and ensures compliance with state and grant requirements. The Facilitator works with community and correctional partners, delivers programming in various settings, and engages employers, schools, and community organizations across the five-county region to address workforce needs.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Facilitate workforce-focused instruction and learning activities that support career readiness, employability skills, and academic development for MWSE customers
  • Meet with employers, community partners and schools to identify their needs, and develop customized programming from existing templates in collaboration with Program Administrators and Workforce Education Manager
  • Collaborate with program leadership to implement education and workforce curriculum aligned with grant requirements, labor market needs, and participant goals
  • Develop and maintain supportive, trusting relationships with participants while identifying barriers impacting engagement, attendance, and performance
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for implementation of workforce education and career readiness curriculum across assigned programs
  • Coordinate with internal teams and partners to connect participants to career exploration activities, employer engagement opportunities, and work-based learning experiences
  • Maintain general knowledge of available workforce programming to accurately refer participants for additional services
  • Monitor participant progress, attendance, and engagement, and assist in adjusting instructional approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with program, grant, and state reporting requirements
  • Track and analyze participation, performance, and outcome measures to support continuous program improvement
  • Facilitate offsite customized programming for identified community partners, employers or school districts
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure integrated service delivery and participant success
  • Deliver or coordinate workforce education and career readiness programming in partnership with local correctional facilities, including county jails, in accordance with program guidelines and facility requirements
  • Perform data entry, statistical analysis, and test proctoring as needed
  • Attend local, regional, and state meetings and trainings as required
  • Travel between service centers and partner locations as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Handles stress appropriately and interact well with others
  • Work with flexible hours and classroom locations
  • Regular in-person on site attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
