AboutThe Opportunity
The University of Canberra is seeking an innovative Educational Designer to partner with academic subject matter experts in designing high-quality, engaging learning experiences that enhance student outcomes.
Grounded in contemporary learning design principles, you will support curriculum and course design across online, blended and on-campus delivery, integrating Indigenous perspectives and work-integrated learning preparation. Please note this is a full time fixed term opportunity (till December 2028).
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively and flexibly across a wide range of disciplines and projects with team members and stakeholders across the University.
- Partner with teaching teams to design, develop, implement and review courses, units and programs that deliver high-quality, student-centred learning experiences across multiple delivery modes.
- Provide expert advice on evidence-based learning design, innovative pedagogies, assessment design and the effective use of educational technologies, including emerging trends such as artificial intelligence.
- Support evaluation and review processes to drive continuous improvement in curriculum and teaching practice.
- Build staff capability in the use of educational technologies, including Learning Management Systems, collaboration tools, virtual learning environments, interactive technologies and ePortfolios.
