Location: Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Ingham, QLD
Commencement Dates: 20th April 2026 – 4 December 2026 (18 hours per week over 3 days, Part‑time, Fixed‑term)
Salary: $86,600 – $124,725 per annum pro rata, pending experience + Super
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. The role involves teaching Year 6 religion and maths, supporting a diverse range of learners, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Design engaging lessons and set clear expectations for students.
- Use assessment tools to monitor progress, celebrate growth, and provide meaningful feedback.
- Reflect on practice and implement improvements to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with the teaching team and the parent community to support each child's development.
- Apply contemporary teaching practices and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities.
- Work in partnership with the school’s Catholic values, prioritizing student safety, wellbeing, and inclusivity.
- Tertiary qualifications in education.
- Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (or eligibility).
- Experience teaching Year 6 religion and/or maths.
- Experience working in an inclusive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and parents.
- Annual leave at 17.5% leave loading.
- Access to long service leave after 7 years of continuous service.
