    2 clinic days /2 OR days between (1 clinic/1 OR day per site weekly)

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Eligible for Michigan medical license
  • Completion of Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
  • Experience in surgery, chemotherapy, and multidisciplinary cancer care
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic cancers.
  • Perform complex surgical procedures malignant and benign.
  • Collaborate with a team of specialists, including surgical oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Manage chemotherapy treatments.
  • Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case planning.
  • Teach, mentor, and supervise residents and fellows.
  • Engage in ongoing research, quality improvement, and education initiatives.
  • Other clinical related duties to meet the needs of the clinic.
