We are partnering with a growing renewable energy developer focused on institutional and public-sector solar projects across multiple states. Our team is lean and highly collaborative, delivering impactful energy solutions while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
Position OverviewThe Construction Manager will act as the Owner’s Representative on active solar construction sites, overseeing third-party subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.
This is a site-based role supporting three Ann Arbor and a Detroit solar projects, with future travel to New York and Nebraska projects as they move into construction.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as on-site Owner’s Representative during active construction
- Oversee EPC partners and subcontractors
- Monitor schedule, quality, and field execution
- Coordinate daily construction activities
- Support safety oversight and compliance
- Attend site meetings and interface with school and municipal stakeholders
- Identify and proactively resolve field issues
- Report progress directly to company leadership
- Travel to additional states (NY, NE) as projects launch
- 3–5+ years of solar construction or field project management experience
- Experience working with EPCs or solar subcontractors
- Commercial or utility-scale solar background preferred
- Strong field presence and ability to operate independently
- Comfortable with multi-state travel
- Ability to problem-solve in real-time construction environments
