Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager
Job Description
The Senior Benefits Analyst (Hybrid, Ann Arbor) is responsible for managing and administering global benefits programs to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and alignment with NSF International’s strategic objectives. This role requires expertise in international benefits, executive benefits programs, and regulatory compliance. The position will also support global mobility initiatives and contribute to benefits integration during mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities- Global Benefits Administration
- Design, implement, and maintain benefits programs across multiple countries.
- Partner with regional HR teams to ensure compliance and market competitiveness.
- Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Serve as subject matter expert on global benefits laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, GDPR, and other international requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness.
- Executive Benefits Management
- Administer executive-level benefits programs, including supplemental retirement and deferred compensation plans.
- Provide guidance on compliance and governance for executive benefits.
- Global Mobility Support
- Assist with expatriate programs, relocation benefits, and tax equalization processes.
- M&A Activity
- Conduct benefits due diligence during acquisitions.
- Develop and execute integration plans for acquired entities.
- Budget Management & Financial Analysis
- Manage global benefits budgets and ensure alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Partner with FP&A and other Finance professionals to ensure budget accuracy and forecasting.
- Deliver trend analysis and actionable recommendations to the Director, Global Total Rewards & People Solutions.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams on cost analysis and compliance.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). - Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration with global scope.
- Expertise in international benefits compliance and executive benefits programs.
- Experience with global mobility and M&A integration strongly preferred.
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of global benefits laws and regulations.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or equivalent.
