Job SummaryWe are seeking a self-motivated, customer-centered, and detail-oriented team member to join the Frankel Cardiovascular Center administrative team and to provide essential administrative support to FCVC leaders, programs, and events. The ideal candidate is excellent at multi-tasking and prioritizing and will function as part of the administrative team, supporting our patients, their families, our healthcare providers, and our community.

- Manage correspondence, prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports.
- Organize and prioritize complex calendars, including room scheduling and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate agendas, meeting minutes, and communications for conferences and committees.
- Provide logistical and day-of support for major events, symposiums, and leadership initiatives.
- Reconcile P-Card transactions and expense reports; arrange travel for leaders and visitors.
- Maintain office operations, including supply inventory.
- Serve as front desk point of contact, assisting staff, patients, and guests with way finding.
- Oversee scheduling and support for FCVC conference rooms and Danto Auditorium.
- Act as primary administrative partner to the Administrative Director and Strategic Planner.
- Provide backup coverage for other administrative partners and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prioritizes and manages complex tasks and/or projects with competing deadlines. Works effectively and efficiently despite the potential for frequent interruptions.
- Works independently with a high degree of creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness. Shows sound judgment based upon experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer focus. Contributes to the team in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Handles confidential materials and situations with sensitivity and discretion.
- 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role.
- Less than 2 years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience utilizing administrative U-M information technology systems.
