Bus Orientation Leaders will meet refugee clients at their home and ride the bus with them to get them familiar with public transportation. Clients may want to know routes to the grocery store, doctors' office, or any other place they may frequent. While riding the bus, the Bus Orientation Leader will help the client understand the ins and outs of riding the bus, Volunteers are allowed and encouraged to use apps such as Google Maps or Ride Time to plan the trip and assist the clients.
Interpreters and training are provided as needed.
