Python Machine Automation Engineer

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Python Machine Automation Engineer.

You will work in a fast-paced R&D environment where you will have the opportunity to program robots and create web pages using Python and React to interact with automated machinery. You will design databases and JSON APIs while providing critical feedback during the product design and specification process. This role requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude as you take responsibility for code development, debugging, analyzing test results, and the implementation of automated system software programs used in agricultural research.

• Create web pages using Python and React to interface with automated machinery.
• Design robust databases, relational structures, and JSON APIs.
• Participate in the product design and specification process by providing technical feedback.
• Develop, debug, and enhance automated system software programs.
• Analyze test results to ensure the reliability and efficiency of robotic systems.
• Support and implement software solutions within an agricultural research setting.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a programming field.
• Proficient in Python programming with 2+ years of professional experience.
• Proficient in SQL Query Development and Relational Database Design.
• Proficient in JSON API development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Ankeny, IA.

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Knowledge of Socket I/O.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development environments.
• Proficiency with Git source control.

$59.50 - $85.00 /hr.
