Job Summary: As an Inside Sales Associate – Building, you will support our Outside Sales Representatives by selling hardware, building materials, and lumber to customers.

Pay for this Role: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full‑time, in‑person job assisting contractor salesman with daily tasks.
• Develop a working knowledge of company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
• Process receiving documents and match up invoices for payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer telephone professionally and pleasantly.
• Listen to and assist customers.
• Assist with delivery of merchandise, if needed.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction or sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to multitask and be detail oriented.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 80 pounds.
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Ability to form strong professional relationships with customers.
• Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
• Ability to operate office equipment and excel experience preferred.
• Friendly outgoing personality that enjoys working with people.
• Positive, punctual, and energetic attitude.
• Strong verbal skills.
• Organized, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
