Position Summary
Assists the Club Manager in directing and guiding members of management and hourly associates on proper member service approaches and techniques by ensuring member needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards, overseeing club operations in the absence of the club manager, assisting with member service as needed, and assisting members with purchases and answering questions or providing information to members and associates.
Key Responsibilities- Increases quality of member experience by modeling appropriate service levels and developing effective merchandise presentation, such as accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, inventory levels, and requesting merchandise to meet the community needs.
- Assists and develops in directing the management team in all facility operations by ensuring asset protection, inventory control, member service and associate safety, ensuring compliance with company policies, and communicating with management and associates.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates by monitoring hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, promoting belonging, and recruiting qualified staff.
- Upholds the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, providing resolutions, and proactively seeking comments.
- Adheres to company and legal policies, procedures, and compliance regulations for the facility by analyzing reports, implementing and monitoring HR compliance, asset protection, safety controls, and overseeing quality assurance reviews.
- Participates in community outreach programs, encourages associates to serve the community, and represents the Company to external organizations, promoting sponsored programs and sustainability efforts.
- Builds knowledge and skills in operating the facility by delegating duties, reviewing reports, creating budgets, leading facility tours, setting standards, and making decisions under guidance.
- Monitors the financial performance of the facility by confirming budgeted sales, membership, wages and other expenses, leading expense control, creating improvement plans, and analyzing economic trends.
- Supports the enforcement of food safety standards, cold chain compliance and merchandise quality, evaluating temperature, storage, sanitation, date coding, product rotation, recalls, and ensuring fresh area forecasts align with budgets.
- Contributes to membership and sales growth by visiting business members, building relationships, motivating the sales team, modeling membership value, and overseeing job‑related activities.
- Builds high‑performing teams, embraces differences, creates an inclusive workplace, and promotes continuous learning.
- Maintains integrity, ethics, compliance, and promotes Walmart values.
- Delivers results by putting customers first, using data insights, balancing priorities, and fostering community impact.
- Drives continuous improvement, adopts new technologies, and supports change.
2 years’ experience in retail management or related field.
Preferred QualificationsMerchandising experience.

The annual salary range is $80,000.00 – $95,000.00. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.
