Description:
Volunteers will pack food supplies for families in boxes or bags to be distributed at mobile pantry sites to accommodate the need for drive-thru and pick up models. This is an emergency response for the effects of COVID-19.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in an assembly line
- Load equal numbers of food items into each bag or box provided
- Ensure all items are checked for safety before placing in bag for distribution
Qualifications:
- Volunteers must stay home if they or members of their family are not well
- Able to stand, move, bend, and lift 30 lbs.
- Willing and able to commit to a monthly shift
Support/Training: Instructions will be provided on-site at the beginning of the shift.
Age Requirement: Minimum age of 10.
Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes are required; no exceptions. Dress comfortably. Gloves will be provided.
