Tabling Team: Info Table Assistant at Local Events

Overview: Weare seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help staff our information tableat various community events throughout the year! You will play an important role in providing the public with valuable information aboutour programs, services, and upcoming events. You'll have the chance toengage with community members, answer their questions, and help raise awareness about the resources we provide!

Role:Distribute brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.

Answer questions about HOME, Inc. and our mission.

Encourage sign-ups for newsletters, events, or volunteer opportunities.

Assist in setting up and packing down the info table as needed.

Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the event.

No prior experience is necessary. We will train you on everything HOME, Inc., so you feel confident while you are volunteering.

Commitment:Event times and locations will vary, so we will provide a schedule with specific dates and shifts as events are confirmed. Sometimes eventscan be short notice, but you will be notified of an opportunitywhenever they are confirmed.

You can sign up for as many or as few events as you like. Events are usually 2-3 hours. They include events like: community fairs, parades,festivals, sporting events, etc. (Some events are indoors and some are outdoors, but you have the ability to choose what you sign up for.) After you register, our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to get you scheduled.

Requirements:Physical ability to lift, carry, and set up a folding table and a box of promotional supplies.

Dependable transportation to and from event locations.

Good communication skills

Training:All volunteers will receive a training orientation prior to their first event, ensuring you feel confident and prepared to represent our organization. We will also make sure your first few times you are notalone, and have either a HOME, Inc. staff member with you or a seasoned
