• Execute safe, efficient mold and tool changeovers according to plan.
• Set, start, and verify presses, molds, and auxiliaries for each job.
• Continuously optimize parameters to improve part quality and reduce cycle times, scrap, and downtime.
• Diagnose and correct process, mold, and machine issues.
• Capture and maintain accurate setup sheets, process parameters, and production records.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, and quality to drive equipment performance and reliability.
• Use overhead cranes/hoists for safe tool handling, installation, and removal.
• Coach operators on standard work and problem-solving.
• Uphold 5S, housekeeping, and safety procedures throughout the molding area.
• Participate in continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and process development efforts.

• High school diploma or GED (required); technical certification or associate degree in plastics/manufacturing (preferred).
• 2–3 years of plastic injection molding experience, including mold changeovers.
• Knowledge of thermoplastics, mold setup best practices, tooling safety, and processing.
• Exposure to scientific molding principles (RJG, Decoupled) is advantageous.
• Skilled at reading blueprints, setup documentation, and technical references.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Standing for long periods; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and clear visual acuity for adjustments and inspections.
• Safe operation of cranes, hoists, and mold-handling devices.

Milacron, Engel, and Sumitomo injection molding machines, plus supporting auxiliary equipment.
