This is not a typical MA job. It’s a mission to help build the future of medicine.

James Clinic is a high-performance integrative medicine practice redefining what modern healthcare looks like. We move fast, think critically, and hold ourselves—and each other—to high standards.

If you’re burned out on corporate medicine, tired of insurance games, and ready to work somewhere that values skill, ownership, and initiative, keep reading.

We’re looking for a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills who takes pride in doing things right, sees problems and solves them, and doesn’t need constant direction to be excellent. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving clinic environment.

Clinic

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–6:00pm Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm

Who This Is Not For

This role is intentionally demanding. It is not a fit if you need:

  • rigid rules or step-by-step scripts
  • constant supervision or micromanagement
  • “that’s how we’ve always done it” thinking
  • a slow pace with low expectations

This environment will feel uncomfortable if you prefer predictability over performance.

Why James Clinic?
  • Competitive pay
  • Unlimited PTO for full-time staff
  • Free concierge membership with one of the nation’s leading functional medicine clinics
  • A mission-driven team where your work truly matters

If excellence is your baseline, speed doesn’t scare you, and growth excites you—you’ll feel right at home here.

Responsibilities
  • Basic Phlebotomy, lab draws, etc
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
  • Clean instruments and equipment after use
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
  • Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
Qualifications
  • BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
