Description

If you’re looking for a new job that allows you to have a positive impact on the lives of others, we have a great opportunity for you to join our healthcare team as a behavioral therapist. Responsibilities include providing all services required as a therapist, such as conducting assessments, facilitating groups, treatment and discharge planning, and documentation of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to clients participating in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and general therapy services.
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and ongoing progress reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and other members of the Inner Healing Collaboration Program to ensure coordinated, holistic client care.
  • Develop individualized treatment and discharge plans that integrate therapeutic, relational, and experiential approaches.
  • Facilitate preparation and integration sessions for clients undergoing KAP treatment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record system.
  • Participate in team meetings, consultation groups, and interdisciplinary case discussions.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in accordance with professional and legal guidelines.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and integrative healing approaches.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and heart-centered team culture consistent with Full Heart’s mission and values.
  • Assess client needs and build customized solutions for behavior issues while establishing individual targets and goals
  • Ensure that all relevant clinical information is documented properly and sent to the patient, their referring healthcare provider, and the treatment team
  • Conduct phone wellness checks on a regular basis to enquire about behavioral health and medication compliance from patients
  • Create treatment plans that reflect patient’s values, goals and health while incorporating feedback from treatment team and ensuring support systems are in place
  • Provide group and individual therapy to patients and families, using evidence-based approaches
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active Iowa clinical license (LMFT, LISW, or LMHC).
  • 1–3 years of post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy to adults.
  • Formal training or certification in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), or a strong interest in pursuing training.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed, attachment-based, or experiential approaches to therapy.
  • Experience working collaboratively with prescribers and integrative treatment teams.
  • Comfortable integrating spiritual, emotional, and somatic dimensions of healing into clinical work.
  • Competence in documentation, treatment planning, and maintaining clinical compliance standards.

  • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical ability as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are needed
  • Current and unrestricted state license as an LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) or equivalent
  • High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent
Compensation

$70,000 - $100,000 yearly
