This position can be based out of our Ames, Ankeny, or West Des Moines office! You may also travel to all three offices if you so choose. A hybrid schedule would also be available.
Who are we?Central Iowa Psychological Services (CIPS) is an outpatient multidisciplinary group practice with office locations in Des Moines, Ames, and Ankeny. We provide general psychotherapy and psychological testing services, medication management services, interventional psychiatric services such as Spravato and TMS, and Substance Abuse/Addiction Services in conjunction with MAT services.

What’s your day-to-day look like?- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program required. - A minimum of a year of licensed clinical practice experience.
- Must be a Licensed Psychologist in good standing in the state of Iowa.
- Postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology a plus, but not required.
- Training and/or understanding of Neuropsychological testing.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of brain behavior relationships.
- Must take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization & time management skills.
