Credit Administration JOB SUMMARY
The Credit Support Specialist is responsible for servicing duties associated with the commercial loan portfolio. This position will act as primary support for regulatory and policy related compliance for commercial lending activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Responsible for booking new and renewal loan closings, extensions, participations, and changes in terms into the Bank’s core system (select markets).
- Process vehicle titles, liens, and charge-offs, UCC continuations, and other real estate transfers for commercial loans.
- Monitor pending documentation such as title opinions, vehicle titles, and insurance.
- Quote payoff information as needed.
- Process loan draw requests.
- Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures, and requirements applicable to this position.
- Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or other related area or an equivalent of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a financial service field required. Experience with loan documentation, operations or other banking related experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively to a wide range of clients and audiences.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
- Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capability to manage sensitive information and uphold confidentiality.
- Capable of exercising discretion, applying common sense, and using independent judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
- Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
