Job Description

As a Mechanical Drafter, you will play a crucial role in coordinating projects and performing basic CAD design work to launch projects. Your primary focus will be on convenience stores that have been recently acquired, ensuring their design aligns with current stores. This role involves utilizing Bluebeam to redline design plans, with the majority of your responsibilities centered around project coordination.

Responsibilities

* Check in projects to ensure they are ready for the next phase.

* Perform basic CAD design work to initiate project launches.

* Coordinate projects primarily focused on convenience store acquisitions.

* Use Bluebeam to redline and review design plans.

* Allocate 70% to 80% of your time to project coordination tasks.

* Dedicate 20% to 30% of your time to designing store acquisitions.

Essential Skills

* Proficiency in project coordination and data entry.

* Experience in construction, design review, and design-build processes.

* Skilled in using AutoCAD and Bluebeam software.

* Familiarity with administration tasks and 3D design.

* Knowledge of Revit and MEP design.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

* Experience with 2D and 3D design is advantageous.

* Strong organizational skills are essential.

Work Environment

You will be reporting onsite at the client offices in Ankeny, IA. The work schedule is 40 hours a week with minimal opportunities for overtime. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Ankeny, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
