SUMMARY

The Civil Superintendent position will manage assigned project , including overseeing field operations , general safety , productivity , schedule , quality work , coordination with other superintendent and project leaders on the jobsite . This position reports to the Field Operations Manager , or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate . This position may be expected to travel up to 100%, of the time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directs solar/construction personnel and/or installation subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
• Coordination of personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules
• Support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities.
• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
• Adhere to and support the company's Health, Safety & Environmental Policies.
• Identify welding certification, training and experience appropriate for assignment scope
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
• Typically serve as lead person to coordinate process activities within their assigned scope in an active construction work site
• Coordinate and implement activities and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution
• Generally responsible to assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance
• Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations
• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets and electronic presentation programs
• May have to interact with Owner's Field Representative and outside testing agencies
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
• Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or another related engineering science
• Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience supporting the constructions of major projects , preferably in the building of power stations or supply networks , or other utility- scale construction projects
• Solar PV or wind power project experience , preferred
• Willingness to travel and relocate from project to project
• Excellent skills in MS Project or comparable project management tool , and possess strong technical aptitude , including knowledge of software development…
