Dispatch Support Coordinator – Ruan Transportation Management Systems
Location: Ankeny, IA
Job Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: Sunday‑Tuesday & every other Saturday
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
This position provides seamless customer service and dispatch support to Ruan’s operations team and customers outside of traditional work hours, enabling a centralized team to handle services more efficiently.
Responsibilities- Accurately prepare and process real‑time data, including maintaining driver activities, hours of service, fuel inquiries, and other required items in the dispatch system.
- Respond to customer issues, including information lookup, report completion, order updates, and email correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with operations regularly to address issues that impact customers and service commitments.
- Record and maintain an updated computer log of incidents, managing administrative and customer service responsibilities.
- Assist operations team members and drivers with training and resource material for standard processes and procedures.
- Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as required.
